Abstract		In her study she has tried to establish statistical differences betwen women with normal pregnancy and those whose child died or was born dead by using parameters which we usually following gynecological files and hospital birth records. She has taken into account 11 cases of dead and stillborn babies from the Nova Gorica region in 1991 and 1992 and random checkups which were standardised according to the year of birth and mothers age. The study is based on a qestionaire that has been made by a work team at The Department for the protection of women and children at the Institute for Health protection under teh guidance of dr. Dunja Obersnel Kveder. The study consists of 6 parts: data about mother, data about pregnancy, data about birth, data about newborn child, data about postneonatal period, data about death. The number of cases included in the study had to be restricted, because not all the information about deceased babies in 1991 and 1992 was avaible. The study therefore includes only 11 cases and 11 checkups, which is the sufficient number for performing the Student double t- test.
