Abstract		Besides arterial hypertension, physical inactivity, cigarette smoking, fitness, hereditary burden, sex, age and some behavior characteristics, hypercholesterolemia acts to be a risk factor for a degenerative vessel process named atherosclerosis. The one's consequences happen to be cardiovascular diseases, the ischaemic heart disease and also an ischaemic cerebrovascular stroke. The treatment of the critical population in the meaning of hypercholesterolemia was planned to follow a destinated protocol, given by a Lipid council in the Lipid Council Review. What I wanted to find out with this task was: how much did I follow the LCR recommendations treating my patients. In that purpose I supervised the card files of my male patients, in the age twenty to sixty years. I found out, that 116 ones had destinated serum cholesterol.15 of them had no risk factor to develop a cardiac disease;101 had a destinated serum cholesterol in the presence of other risk factors. Three of them had a cardiac disease risk factor, although without the destinated serum cholesterolaemia. Cigarette smoking history was recorded with 21 patients, fatness with 5; 61 of them had arterial hypertension, and physical inactivity was recorded with 21. There were 13 diabetics, 56 patients were older than 55 y.l.a., hereditary burdened 4. The serum lypoproteine study was made in 11, the ordinary serum lypids analysis in 53 patients. A dietetic regime was introduced in 90, hypolipaemic remedy in 8 cases; body weight was regularly controlled in 4, the serum triglyceridaemia was controlled in 108 cases, and 79 of them had pathological results. Thanks to the results of this task I found out that the serum cholesterol range was made in the majority of the patients with other cardiac diseases' risk factors. Also the serum triglyceridaemia was made by routine. (Abstract truncated at 2000 characters).
