Abstract		Graduation thesis is an experiment to evaluate my own work in general practice. With this thesis I was testing myself, my relation to the work and to the profession, partly to the patients and their cooperation. I analysed the diagnostics of arterial hypertension in general practice in Ljutomer and in Mala Nedelja because I was sure, that there are differences at this two places. At the first place I have all the diagnostic facilities what is not the case at Mala Nedelja. For that purpose I examined the files of the patients I started to treat in the past five years. Results confirmed my suspitions and they are helping me already at my work.
