Abstract		General practitioners have to deal with all stages of dementia. Tests for detecting the deterioration of cognitive abilities can be also used for diagnosis. With the help of these tests the initial deterioration of random exameness and the stages of patients' affection are defined more precisely in the paper. The obtaine dresults are the basis for the guidelines and suggestions for the patients and their relatives.
Summary		Zdravniki splošne medicine se srečujejo z vsemi stopnjami dementnosti. Pri diagnostiki lahko uporabljajo tudi teste za ugotavljanje upada kongnitivnih sposobnosti. V naši raziskovalni nalogi smo s pomočjo testov natančneje opredelili začetni upad naključnih preiskovalcev in stopnjo prizadetosti bolnikov. Na osnovi dobljenih rezultatov smo oblikovali navodila in nasvete za bolnike in njihove svojce.
