| Abstract | In department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic of Maribor 35 pregnant women with epilepsy and 62 control group pregnant women without epilepsy were delivered from 1985 -1995. The incidence of complications in pregnancy was statistic significant (p<0.05) in group of pregnant women with epilepsy. The statistic more significant EPH gestoz were in group of pregnant women with epilepsy without treated anticonvulsive. Apgar score in the flrst minute was less than 8, in the babies epileptic mothers. To minimize the risk and improve the outcome of pregnancy it should be the ciose collaboration between the general practitioner, the neurologist, obstetrician, gynecologist and pediatrician before and in the course of prenatal period. | |
