Abstract		In the article the author presents the basic rules and application of the therapy with the functional tape bandage. This therapy can be implemented in the cases of lighter injuries of the soft tissued, as continuation or shortening of the plaster immobilization and as preventive. The main characteristics of the tape bandage are imobilization as much as possible, yet as a little as possible. The technique is oriented on the functional anatomy and this periformed in combination of elastics and fixed tapes. When placing the tape bandage the apperently contradictory mobility on the one side and stability on the other side are coordinately combined. For each patients and for each indication the degree of stability and mobility has to be achieved by the ride fitting of the tape bandage.
