Abstract		Snoezelen is a combination of two Dutch words equivalent to the English "sniffing" and "dozing". The world promotes the concept and sensation of relaxation. Originally developed in the Netherlands over a decade ago, Snoezelen is now an internationally accepted method to improve the quality of life for people with special needs.
