Abstract		The paper deals with the definition of chronic pyelonephritis, its causes, pathogenesis, diagnosing, clinical course and treatment, It also describes the factors leading to the progressing of renal failure and gives instructions aiding in decisions regarding pregnancy in chronic pyelonephritis patients.
