| Abstract | In majority of patients we try to reach sinus rhythm. In case this is not possible we decide to control ventricular rate with pharmacological treatment. At the same time the diagnostic procedures and treatment of underlying diseases and triggering factors are performed. Selection of treatment depends on clinical status, type of atrial fibrillation, as well on diagnostic and therapeutic possibilities. | |
