| Abstract | The most common thrombembolic event of atrial fibrillation is stroke. Antithrombotic treatment reduces incidence of thrombembolic events. Patients treated with antithrombotic drugs mustbe individualy selected because of possible side effects of antithrombotic treatment and have to be cerefylly monitored. | |
