Abstract		In the paper the stress is put on the fact that keeping records and updating files is essential for succesful treatment of patiens. The same holds the elderly peoples home residents. The findings have been drawn from the actual use of physiotherapy files as wel as the tests carried out on traumatized patients, both of which are applied in the authors practice. Further a general description of physioterapeutical treatment of a traumatized patient is given, including numerous partikular treatments in the Elderly Peoples Home "Danice Vogrinec" Tabor Maribor over the period of two years. Besides the analysis of the fractures typical for elderly people, special atention is paid to the upper leg fracture.
