| Abstract | This review article demonstrates the role of standard echocardiography and newer echocardiographic techniques in pediatric cardiologic diagnosis. Some views on the role of echocardiography in everyday pediatric practice are given. The significance of echocardiography in diagnosing some frequent cardiac defects before operative treatment is pointed out as compared to the role of invasive diagnosis. | |
