Abstract     The article present an integrated model of comprehensive quality assurance, the important part of which is the quality of heath care which is also measured in terms of patient satisfaction. Reasons for measuring, its goals and some impediments are being described. Instruments for researching of patient satisfaction in the frames of practice of nursing care are described. The author presents a theoretical model of quality measurement of nursing care from patient's point of view and suggests some direction for new development strategies in nursing care.
Summary     Prispevek predstavi integrirani model celovitega zagotavljanja kakovosti, katerega sestavni del je kakovost izvajanja zdravstvenih storitev za uporabnika, ki jo ocenjujemo tudi na osnovi merjenja zadovoljstva bolnikov. V prispevku so opisani kriteriji za merjenje zadovoljstva. Opisani so razlogi za merjenje, cilji le-tega in nekatere ovire. Predstavljeni so instrumenti za raziskovanje zadovoljstva bolnikov v praksi zdravstvene nege. Avtorica opredeli teoretični model za merjenje kakovosti zdravstvene nege z vidika bolnikov in predlaga nekatere usmeritve za nove razvojne strategije v zdravstveni negi.
