Abstract		Many patients with chest pain are addmitted each year to the Centre for Intensive Internal Medicine. The most frequent cause of chest pain is acute myocardial infarction. We will show you the importance of the nursing care of these patients. There are some differences in the nursing care depending on the medical treatment of acute myocardial infarction. Appropriate nursing care, experience and professionalism of the nurses have important influence on treatment in patients'subsequent quality of life.
