Abstract     The authors present review of bone pathophysiology of shock (decrease of cardiac output, ischemic gut injury and reperfusion syndrome). Clinical signs, early continuous monitoring of oxygenation and tissue perfusion is pointed out. Therapeutic strategies are discussed and importance of oxygenation by early infusion with mechanical ventilation and aggressive fluid resuscitation is stressed. Important therapeutic strategies are also pain management, vasoactive and inotropic support of cardiac pump and hypothermia prevention.
