Abstract     The absorption of fluoride from mineral water (containing 1.608 mg/l of fluoride) was studied in 17 healthy volunteers, 9 males and 8 females. The plasma and 24-hour urine concentrations of fluoride were determined at the beginning of the study, after 7 days of drinking mineral water Radin, and after 7 days of drinking the fluoride-rich mineral water Miral. Drinking of the mineral water Miral statistically significantly increased the plasma and urine concentrations of fluoride.
