Abstract		For the correct transfer of infectious samples in due time the cooperation among the physician, nurse and the mikrobiologist is very important. The sample must be representative, the sampling process must be technically correct, the sample must be put in an appropriate sterile leakproof container. The transfer of the sample has to be organized in the shortest time possible after sampling. During transportation, the survival of the potential pathogenes must be assured and all measures of precaution must be taken in order to prevent damage or leakage of the sample. Each container needs to be marked with patient and sample data.The accompanying data sheet must be filled correctly and precisely. The procession of urgent samples is discussed with the clinician in each case. The transfer of infectious samples is organized directly by a courier service or mail. Mailing the samples, we take the responsibility for all consequences in case of an accident. For urgent samples, we choose the fastest means of transport available. The results of the analyses are communicated by courier service or mailed. Urgent findings we communicate by phone, fax or E-mail.
Summary		Za pravilen in pravočasen prenos kužnineje zelo pomembno sodelovanje zdravnika, medicinske sestre in mikrobiologa. V prvi vrsti mora biti vzorec reprezentativen, odvzet s pravilno tehniko in shranjen v ustrezno embalaio, ki mora biti sterilna in mora dobro tesniti. Prenos kužnin mora biti organiziran v najkrajšem možnem času po odvzemu. V času transporta moramo zagotoviti preživetje potencialnih patogenov in upoštevati vse ukrepe za zavarovanje kužnin pred poškodbami in razlitjem. Vsaka posodica s kužnino mora biti označena s podatki o pacientu in materialu. Pravilno in natančno mora biti izpolnjen tudi spremni list. Za urgentne odvzeme kužnin, njihov prenos in obdelavo v laboratoriju se s klinikom dogovarjamo sproti. Prenos kužnin lahko organiziramo neposredno s kurirsko službo in po pošti. Pri pošiljanju po pošti prevzamemo tudi odgovornost za vse posledice, ki bi nastale v primeru nesreče. V primeru urgence izberemo najhitrejši možni način prenosa. Rezultate analiz sporočamo redno kot mikrobiološke izvide, ki jih lahko pošiljamo po kurirski službi in po pošti na naslov naročnika. Nujne izvide sporočamo po telefonu, po faksu ali elektronski pošti.
