Abstract     Foreign bodies in the upper digestive tract are rarely the cause of profuse hemorrhage. Presented is the case of a 48-year-old male patient who had swollowed a razor blade and consequently developed an acute gastric hemorrhage. During interventional endoscopic investigation, endoscopic hemostasis was caried out and two pieces of razor blade were removed.
