Abstract     The article contains a short explanation of anatomy and biomechanics of the nervous system, which is crucial for understanding tension tests of the nervous system and for its mobilisation. We tried to present the adaptive mechanisms of the spinal cord and its meninges, periferal and autonomic nervous system in relation to human movement. The central idea of the article is dedicated to tension tests of the nervous system. One of the tension tests of the nervous system is particularly represented, namely the first tensiop test for the upper extremities of the body with which we can evaluate the mechanics of lower cervical nervous roots, the brachial branch and medial nerve.
