Abstract		In the majority of developed environments of today's world is an increasing share of elder people among the population a signifcant phenomenon. This fact dictates a dynamic need for sometimes integrated health and social facilities, for which also new organizational forms are required. So, among others, also demographic changes call for nursing hospital. Some problems of the elder people from health and social viewpoint are presented in the contribution. Trends of elderly people needs for a more qualitative approach and treatment, monitoring and control are indicated. There are increasing requirements for nursing care in people, espe- cially elderly, as an increasing number of them besides the high specialized medical interventions need also other treatments in newer form of organizatioh. The aim of this new form is the attainment of a more human and continuous health care with a special emphasis on nursing care and team collaboration.
Summary		Naraščanje deleža starejših Ijudi med prebivalci je značilen pojav za večino razvitih okolij današnjega sveta. To narekuje dinamično potrebo po včasih integriranih zdravstvenih in socialnih storitvah, ki zahtevajo tudi nove organizacijske oblike. Zato so negovalne bolnišnice utemeljene med drugim tudi z vidika demografskih sprememb. V prispevku so predstavljeni nekateri problemi stariejših pri nas iz zdravstvenega in socialnega vidika. Nakazani so trendi potreb starejših po bolj kakovostnem pristopu ter obravnavi, spremljanju in nadzorovanju. Potrebe Ijudi po zdravstveni negi, posebej starejših, se povečujejo, saj je vedno več takih, ki potrebujejo poleg visokospecializiranih zdravstvenih storitev še drugažno obravnavo v novejši obliki organiziranosti. Cilj te nove oblike je doseganje bolj humane in kontinuirane zdravstvene oskrbe, s poudarkom na zdravstveni negi in timskem sodelovanju.
