Abstract | The purpose of the research was to define the amount of the arsenic and mercury in bivalve molluscs, cephalopod molluscs and fish in the Slovene sea. We used the HG-AAS with MHS - 10 Mercury / Hydride System (Perkin Elmer) for the determination of the arsenic and mercury. The samples were homogenizated and digested in the microwave digestion system (Milestone - MLS - 1200 MEGA). The results of the research are in the limits of the results obtained over the world. For the evaluation of the results is important to consider the nature (organic or inorganic) and the valency state of the metal. | |
