Abstract		The motor system problems following ischaemic stroke in the teritory of the middle cerebral artery were assessed. In month six post event the following assessment methods were applied to 17 pateints: The Jebsen Test of Hand Function (JTHF), Motor Evoked Potentials (MEP), Lovett scale (muscle force) and Arm Function Test. The aims of the study were to find out whether the JTHF clarifies motor problems patients suffering from stroke in the teritory of the middle cerebral artery, and its clinical utility. Results showed that correlation between the JTHF and MEP of the biceps brachii (amplitude) was statistically important (p<0.025). Therefore the JTHF assesses the motor impairment. Furthermore, it also shows impairment in patients who had normal scores on the other tests, used in our study.
Summary		Pri bolnikih z ishemično možgansko kapjo v področju srednje možganske arterije je bila ocenjena motorična prizadetost. V šestem mesecu po kapi je bilo pri 17 bolnikih uporabljenih več ocenjevalnih metod, kot so: Funkcijski test roke po Jebsen-u (FTRJ). Motorični izvabljeni odzivi, ocena mišične moči po Lovettovi lestvici ter Funkcijski test roke. Namen naloge je bil ugotoviti ali FTRJ odraža okvaro motoričnega sistema osrednjega živčevja in njegovo klinično uporabnost. Rezultati so pokazali statistično pomembno povezavo med JTHF in okvaro motoričnega sistema. JTHF prikaže motorično okvaro tudi pri bolnikih, pri nekaterih so bile ocene na ostalih meritvah, uporabljenih pri zbiranju podatkov, v mejah mormalnih vrednosti.
