Abstract		The purpose of the review is to describe the problems of knee joint injuries because of diminished proprioception. In knee joint mechanoreceptors with proprioceptive function were found. In the review the methods for estimation of the proprioception are described. In injured knee the proprioception of the knee is diminished due to arthrogenic muscle weakness which follows the injury. The aim of the rehabilitation is to reach high level of a and gamma motor neuron activation.
