| Abstract | Background. Distally based sural superficial flap is a fasciocutaneous flap designed on the principles of distally based neurocutaneous flaps. The flap was successfully transferred in 9 patients for coverage of defects on the lower leg and heel. In three cases partial necrosis of the flap occurred due to inadequate planning therefore flap elevation is not easy and quick for every surgeron. The major arteries and nerves are not sacrificed. Microsurgical procedure is not neccessary. Conclusions. Functional results are good. The consequence of the flap elevation is a small anaesthetic area on the lateral side of the foot. This flap is aesthetically acceptable only for those not bothered by a scar or even a transplant. For this reason it is not suitable for young women due to an inconvenient scar on the visible part of the calf. | |
| Summary | Izhodišča. Reženj a. suralis superficialis z distalno bazo je fascio-kožni reženj, ki ga dvignemo po načelu oživčenih kožnih režnjev z distalno bazo. Z njim smo prekrili tkivne vrzeli na oddaljenem delu goleni in peti pri devetih bolnikih. Noben reženj ni propadel, pri treh bolnikih je nastala robna nekroza zaradi slabega načrtovanja, zato dvigovanje režnja ni enostavno in hitro za vsakega kirurga. Ohranimo vse glavne žile in živce goleni in stopala. Mikrokirurški poseg ni potreben. Rezultati. Funkcionalni rezultati so dobri. Polsedica dviga režnja je manjši izpad občutljivosti na zunanjem delu stopala. Reženj je estetsko sprejemljiv za tiste, ki jih ne moti brazgorina ali celo presadek na goleni. Zato ni primeren za mlade ženske, ker pusti motečo brazgotino na delu telesa, ki je vsem na očeh. | |
