Abstract		During travel in the tropics and subtropics and after returning home, many different skin lesions may appear on travellers' skin. Some of them arise only because of the patient's inability to adapt to different conditions, while others are result of diseases specofoc for the area they were travelling in. Since a greater number of people now travel to these countries, there has also been an increase in patients with the above-mentioned skin symptoms. In addition, the paper also discusses the most common skin diseases in the tropics, the clinical findings, diagnosis and treatment.
Summary		Na potovanju v tropske in subtropske kraje ter po vrnitvi domov se lahko na koži popotnikov pojavijo številne kožne spremembe. Nekatere nastanejo le zaradi neprilagojenosti bolnika na spremenjene klimatske razmere, druge so posledica bolezni, specifičnih za ta področja. Zaradi vedno pogostejših potovanj v te predele narašča tudi število bolnikov z omenjeno kožno simptomatiko. V nadaljevanju so predstavljene nekatere pogostejše kožne bolezni v tropih s klinično sliko, diagnostiko in zdravljenjem.
