Abstract		Many tourists are bitten by animals every year. Snakes and large cats such as lions and tigers are the most notorious, but the majority of serious health problems are caused by rather innocent mosquitoes, bees, wasps, cast and dogs. The symptoms and signs of different bites, first aid measures and treatment are discussed in the article.
Summary		Veliko turistov se vsako leto sreča s poškodbami, ki juh povzročijo živali. Največ strahu vlada pred kačami in velikimi zvermi, med potovanjem pa največ hudih zdravstvenih težav povzročajo na prvi pogled nedolžni komarji, čebele, ose, psi in mačke. V članku so predstavljeni simptomi in znaki, prva pomoč in zdravljenje pri ugrizih in pikih različnih živali.
