| Abstract | Two main complications occurr during statin treatment, the increase of liver aminotransferases in plasma and myopathies. Trials to improve these complications by application of ubiquinone are described and critically evaluated. At the end , some author's oppinions are given in regard to special indication for prescribing ubiquinone in conjuction with statin treatment (older people, liver disease in history, alcoholism). | |
