Abstract     The role of pancreatitis-associated protein (PAP) and pancreatic stone protein (PSP) as new diagnostic markers in coeliac disease was investigated. The laboratory data of seven children with confirmed coeliac disease before and after the gluten free diet were analysed in this study. Serum PAP and PSP concentrations were determined in sera with enzyme-immuno assay and the values were compared to serum concentrations of IgA antigliadin antibodies. Serum concentrations of PAP and PSP were elevated in active coeliac disease and decreased after gluten free diet. PAP and PSP proved to be useful markers for monitoring the patients on gluten free diet.
Summary     V članku opisujemo vrednotenje dveh novih diagnostičnih označevalcev celiakije: proteina pankreatitisa (PAP) ter proteina kalcinacij pankreasa (PSP). Opisujemo primere sedmih otrok s klinično potrjeno celiakijo, pred in po dieti brez glutena. Koncentracijo PAP in PSP v serumu otrok s celiakijo smo merili z encimsko imunskim testom ter vrednosti primerjali s koncentracijo IgA antigliadinskih protiteles.
