Abstract		The article presents the activities of the Slovene Coeliac Disease Society. The members of the Society are all coeliac disease patients who have to exclude gluten from their diets permanently. The main purpose of the Society is to educate children, their parents and also the population with special dietary needs, and to conduct activities for better quality of life of coeliac disease patients.
Summary		V prispevku je predstavljeno delovanje Slovenskega društva za celiakijo. V društvo so po potrditvi diagnoze napoteni bolniki, ki morajo iz svoje prehrane doživljenjsko izločiti gluten. Namen delovanja društva je zdravstveno-vzgojno poučiti otroke, njihove starše in del populacije s posebnimi prehranskimi potrebami ter izvajati aktivnosti za izboljšanje kakovosti življenja obolelih s celiakijo.
