Abstract		The article describes the metabolic changes in stressed child and an appropriate planning of nutrition concerning energy and substrates input. Usage of certain fats and glutamine in order to change the inflammatory and immune response of the organism is discussed.
Summary		V prispevku opisujemo presnovne spremembe pri otroku v stresu ter ustrezno načrtovanje prehrane tako glede vnosa energije kot posameznih hranil. Ovrednotiti skušamo uporabo nekaterih maščob in glutamina z namenom spremeniti vnetni oziroma imunski odziv organizma.
