Abstract		This work presents the development of a computerised application for support of medical treatment of the patient in the secondary care. The structured analysis method was used which includes the data analysis, process analysis and principal elements of the user interface. The aim of the planned application is to provide easy and complete processing and storage of clinical data about the patient and his medical treatment together with automation of office work in the secondary care unit. On this way we would like to improve the quality medical treatment, to reduce the usage of papers media and economise time and money. The described application is already implemented and now it is in the phase of testing.
