Abstract		A directed interview was given to eight female anorexia nervosa patients currently under treatment and to seven other women with a history of anorexia nervosa. The occurance of several characteristic symptoms was noticed. Some anthropometric measurement and blood pressure test were done with the patients in remission. Nevertheless a considerable body weight deviation (on average -19%), a low index Q (mean valne 1.66, SD 0.12) and a hypotension was detected. The self-image was measured using the psyhodiagnostic test OSIQ (Offer Self Image Questionnaire for Adolescents). The results obtained suggested the conclusion that the comparison of the self-image mean value relative to the content area of family interrelation bettwen the group of former patients and the group of healthy individuals is impossible. The same holds for the field of psychopatology when the group of patients and the corresponding control group are in question. In both cases the reason ia a significant variance difference (F test, p < 0.01). The other comparisons were performed using the t-test showing a certain degree of difference between groups suggesting thus a need for additional research.
