Abstract		Background. Ultrasound guided pericardiocent thesis is the method of choice for diagnostics and treatment of pericardial effusion. The risk of the procedure is less than 5%. Pericardiocentesis often reveals bloody fluid. The origin of the fluid could be haemorrhagic pericardial effusion or blood from the heart. We performed two contrast echocardiography guided pericardiocenteses after the haemorrhagic fluid was found. Condusions. With this method we immediatelly and precisely confirmed the position of the catheter. With the above described new technic the risk of procedure was probably diminished.
Summary		Izhodišča. Perikardiocenteza pod kontrolo ultrazvoka je metoda izbire v diagnostiki in zdravljenju perikardnega izliva. Zapletov je manj kot 5%. Že pri punkciji dobimo krvavo tekočino, ne vemo, ali je to krvav perikardni izliv ali kri iz srčne votline. Opravili smo dve perikardni punkciji pod kontrolo ultrazvočnega kontrasta, potem ko je izvajalec izpunktiral močno krvavo tekočino. Zaključki. Z opisano metodo smo točno in takoj lokalizirali lego punkcijskega katetra. S to novo metodo smo verjetno zmanjšali možnost zapleta punkcije.
