Abstract		Inhibitors of serine proteinases which are factors of coagulation cascade, including factor Xa inhibitors are lately target of research of the pharmaceutical industry. The reason for that lies in numerous deficiences of currently used anticoagulants, namely heparine and his derivatives and coumarines. Structure of the active site of factor Xa, achieved with X-ray diffraction made a great impact on the synthesis of new Xa inhibitors. Despite high efficiency and moderate selectivity there are currently no Xa although some of them are in different stages of inhibitors on market clinical tests.
Summary		Inhibitorji serinskih proteinaz, ki so udeležene v koagulacijski kaskadi, med katere sodijo tudi inhibitorji faktorja Xa, so v zadnjem času postali tarča raziskav farmacevtske industrije. Vzrok je v številnih pomanjkljivostih, ki so značilne za antikoagulante, ki so trenutno v uporabi (heparin in derivati, kumarini). Razvoj v smeri inhibitorjev Xa je pospešila določitev strukture aktivnega mesta z metodo rentgenske difrakcije. Kljub visoki učinkovitosti in relativno dobri selektivnosti na tržišču inhibitorjev Xa še ni, vendar so nekatere spojine že v raznih fazah kliničnih testiranj.
