Abstract | Brain reward system, which involves mesolimbic dopamine (DA) system and prefrontal cortex, is an important evolutionary mechanism to preserve the succession of life. Unfortunately, through the impact on secretion of dopamine (DA), the effects of psychoactive substances have been included in its competency; therefore it is called a biological substrate of addiction. | |
Summary | Možganskl sistem za nagrajevanje, ki ima sedež v mezolimbičnem dopaminskem (DA) sistemu in prefrontalni skorji, je pomemben evolucijski mehanizem za ohranitev vrste, saj posreduje ugodja hranjenja in seksualnega življenja. Žal so se v njegov (delo) krog - z vplivom na sproščanje dopamina - vključili tudi učinki psihoaktivnih snovi, zato sistem imenujemo tudi biološki substrat zasvojenosti. | |
