Abstract | Dizzines is common complaint for which patients seek medical attention in the emegency rooms. Broad and bewildering variety of disorders in the realms of neurology, otology, cardiology, ophtalmology and psychiatry can cause dizziness. The evaluation of the dizzy patient and overview of the disorders that cause dizziness will be reviewed in the article. The majority of patients with acute dizziness has benign disorders, which should be differentiated from potentially life threatening diseases. | |
