Abstract     In this report, we present a review of 31 cases of resuscitation of ACLS team, which had occurred at the place of the incident or during the transportation. The sample represents all cases that had been resuscitated between 1 March 1999 and 1 March 2000. Cardiac aetiology was assumed in 20, non-cardiac aetiology in 7, and none was suggested in the remaining 4 cases. The median call response was 10,5 minutes. Lay-bystander CPR was performed in 5 cases. Asystole was documented in 19, venticular fibrillation in 9 cases, but no documentation was available in the remaining 4 cases. Spontaneous circulation was achiewed in 8 cases, with 6 of them dying in the ICU of the regional hospital. Two patiens survived and were eventually discharged. One of them is independent in a daily life.
