Abstract		The presenting article was prepared mainly for nurses and other medical personnel that is not primarily involved in treatment and care of the cardiology patients. It is prepared for those, who unlike personnel in emergency, cardiology and intensive care departments, are not subjected to experience and education in cardiology emergencies. The aim of the text is to repeat some necessary physiological and clinical basics and to suggest a rational approach in cardiac emergencies. Some facts are over- simplified in order to enhance understanding and memorizing of the essentials.
