Abstract		The paper presents a new model of back pain treatment and a disabilility that the experts call biopsychosocial. Clinically significant elements influencing the process of chronic pain and disability emergence and maintenance are emphasized. The author turns attention to the crucial moments which are at work when some patients develop chronic disability due to back pain, while others maintain normal life more or less successfully.
