Abstract		This institution has begun developing the concept of rehabilitation for children with cochlear implants that would enable the best exploitation of all the technical possibilities provided by this apparatus. The rehabilitation of children with cochlear implants is planned in a manner that enables the attainment and consolidation of all phases of speech development. The therapy is designed individually throughout all phases, from detection, discrimination and identification to comprehension, taking into account the child's needs, and the characteristics of their educational environment during rehabilitation are also considered. Constant surveying of the results provides guidelines for our individual rehabilitation programmes.
Summary		Za otroke s polževim vsadkom, ki jih obravnavamo v naši ustanovi, smo začeli razvijati koncept rehabilitacije, ki omogoča najboljši možni izkoristek tehničnih možnosti, ki jih daje aparat. Rehabilitacijo načrtujemo tako, da pridobimo in utrdimo vse faze v jezikovnem razvoju. Individualno oblikujemo terapijo v vseh fazah od detekcije, diskriminacije in identifikacije do razumevanja. Vsebinsko, časovno in prostorsko jo načrtujemo tako, da upoštevamo otrokove potrebe in značilnosti otrokovega učno-vzgojnega okolja. Stalno spremljanje rezultatov usmerja individualne programe rehabilitacije.
