Abstract		The problem of the complex etiology of tympanosclerosis receives much emphasis. The authors' experiments show that mucosal changes, similar to those seen in early tympanosclerosis, can appear in a certain number of cases due to the presence of blood in the middle ear. As a result, they recommend the elimination of blood from the middle ear cavity by means of aspiration in the cases of the middle ear trauma with haemathotympanon. They recommend the same procedure for the operations of the middle ear, which should be performed with the application of adequate haemostasis to prevent tympanosclerosis development.
Summary		Problemu kompleksne etiologije timpanoskleroze namenjajo veliko pozornosti. Poskusi avtorjev kažejo, da lahko do sprememb sluznice, podobnih tistim v zgodnjem obdobju timpanoskleroze, pride v določenem številu primerov zaradi prisotnosti krvi v srednjem ušesu. Zato priporočajo odstranitev krvi iz srednjega ušesa z aspiracijo v primerih poškodb srednjega ušesa s hematotimpanonom. Enak postopek priporočajo za operacije srednjega ušesa, ki naj se jih izvaja z zadostno hemostazo, da bi se tako preprečil razvoj timpanoskleroze.
