Abstract		The National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia shall adopt the national programme of health and safety at work. The national programme shall determine the development strategy in the field of health and safety at work aimed at protection of lives, health and ability to work of employees, and at the prevention of workplace injuries and occupational or other work-related diseases. The draft national programme shall be prepared by the Government of the Republic of Slovenia in consultation with professional experts, employers, organisations and trade unions.
