Abstract     Some mechanisms of drugs' nephrotoxicity are explained. Emphasis is on noxiousness of antibiotics, especially on aminoglycosides, cephalosporines, pentamidine, sulfonamides, tetracyclines and vancomycin. Another important group of drugs which could act nephrotoxic are NSAID and analgesics. We meet also with nephrotoxicity of cyclosporine, tacrolimus and heavy metals.
