Abstract		Some new tricyclic analogs of beta-lactams with potential action on beta-lactamases were synthesised. Our scope was to find out which functional groups are needed for inhibition. Reaction mechanism of compound Lek-157 in nonenzymatic conditions was investigated and confirmed with beta-lactamase type A.
