Abstract		An analytical procedure for determination of doramectin in cattle faeces was developed. Classical extraction procedure for extraction of doramectin from cattle faeces, a solid phase extraction (SPE) for the clean-up of extracts and a high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) with UV and fluorescent detection were introduced in the analytical procedure. Low detection limit (5 ng/ml), good reproducibility (>90%), selectivity and recovery 75-85% enabled the investigation of the time excretion of doramectin in cattle faeces after a single dose of 200 microg of doramectin / kg b.w.
