Abstract     In the presented work concentrations of some selected metals in sediments of Sava River and its larger inflows were determined. Anthropogenic contribution of determined elements was estimated by aluminum normalization. Easily soluble part of metals was determined by acetic acid extraction. These give a data for estimation of solubility, transport and potential bioavailability of metals in sediment. Concentrations of soluble elements in 25% acetic acid show that the part of easily soluble metals is relatively low. The highest is for Pb, Cd, Co, Cu, and Zn. Concentration of all mentioned elements are in the normal range of geochemical background and below regulation limits.
