Abstract		Hemorrhoidal disease is one of the troubles of moderne mankind. Patients are too often treated wrongly by themselves. Medical treatment very often starts late, what can be dangerous, specially in case of serious concomitant illness. The treatment of hemorrhoids is efficient. Help can be offered in different steps of the disease. Surgery is still the best treatment for prolapsing hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids are one of the diseases in the group of intestinal bleeding, therefore carefull examination and exact diagnosis is necessary. When diagnosis is established, appropriate therapy is undertaken.
