Abstract     Arrhythmias in the setting of catheterization laboratory are dealt with in the following paper. They are mostly insignificant if discovered and treated in time. Arrhythmias of ischemic origin are a predictor of coronary artery occlusion after percutaneous coronary revascularization. Meticulous analysis of the postprocedural arterial image, as well as the use of mechanical or pharmacologic means are invaluable for the duration of the primary angiographic success. Left ventricular aneurysm is better recognized by means of ultrasound investigation. Electrophysiological study is useful in recognition of type and cause of rhythm disturbances. Radiofrequency ablation is standard non-pharmacologic treatment of various arrhyhtmias.
