Abstract | Nurses at the Department of Cardiology, University Medical Centre Ljubljana are often encountered with situations in which patients with life-threatening heart rhythm disturbances are treated. In such cases, a nurse has to be able to recognize them and react accordingly and quickly. This takes a lot of skill and knowledge, constant learning and keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in the treatment of heart rhythm disturbances and above all, a lot of self-confidence and uderstanding for the patient. | |
