| Abstract | Myiosis is frequently reported in patients from tropical and subtropical areas. Infestations are caused by the larvae of the different flies. The first detected case of subcutaneous myiosis caused by the larvae of Dermatobia hominis fly in patient who returned from Peru to Slovenia is described. Treatment and prevention of this infestation is also described. | |
| Summary | O mijozi pogosto poročajo pri bolnikih, ki so se vrnili iz tropskih ali subtropskih krajev. Okužbo povzročajo ličinke različnih muh. V članku pri bolniku, ki se je vrnil iz Peruja v Slovenijo prikazujemo podkožno mijozo, povzročeno z ličinkami muhe Dermatobia hominis. Opisano je tudi zdravljenje in preprečevanje te okužbe. | |
